Without searching for "missing pixels" by finding them on other frames, if your camera moves from Ground to Sky ( an extreme shake!), then there is little the Zoom-in can do. ![]() Is this what OP complained about in Vegas Pro ( Post 1).? However, each takes the centre of the first frame and tries to keep that within the picture - so you are "Zoomed-in" Stab, which has about a dozen variants ( Read degrees of stab, I think ). ![]() This investment has been invaluable to me not only because of its ease and speed of use and the results it can achieve but also because it helped me to save a family film that I thought had been completely lost because of the judder resulting from a slipping sprocket in the camera (see my post at #3 above). This meant that I only spent a fraction over £100 when I bought the SAL version about 14 months ago. This apart, Mercalli regularly comes up with heavily discounted offers. In many ways, cost is largely relative in any case and not just in relation to your purse: for example, a golfer will happily spend more than £300 on a driver which is but one of the 14 clubs he carries around the course or a HI-Fi fan significantly more than this on a speaker set or a turntable. How much you choose to spend is a very personal matter and much will depend on how important the hobby os to you, how much time and effort you are prepared to put into it, what you are looking for at the end of the day, how easy/convenient it is to use, how frequently it will be used etc., etc. ![]() I'm in the same position, but I couldn't justify paying some £213 ($299) for a plug-in to fix one particular problem - especially when I can do the same thing for free!
